Photographer's Note
The place where I was able to get to by sunrise time was not only a fishing village as you saw from my photo yesterday but also had a wonderful beach and a hotel. So by sunrise time, I was not the only one there. People were waiting for the sunrise to come up, which was a great relief to me. I was able to catch this woman with her umbrella (it wasnt quite raining but there was some moisture in the air) looking towards the east, where the sun would come up in the next 5 or so minutes.
On the very left of this frame you can see the fishing boats and the pier where I took yesterday's photo.

Good morning Rafal, contining the discussion of yesterday, here is a good example IMO, without the women and her umbrella looking out into the distance waitign patiently, this image would have lacked lustre. Ok, it depicts a sunrise with the subtle colours that go with it, it is of course, well framed, but she just adds life to the shot. Again this is only my opinion, and i know there are many here that can bring a landscape to life - maybe this is also my failign I have to have a human element.
Having said all this, you can take it that I like this image.

Hello Rafal!
A very atmospheric picture of this Korean beach scene, the pale colours are quite perfect to express the mood of this early hour.
Thanks for sharing,

Witaj Rafale.
No widze ze nieco romantyzmu tutaj mamy i cieplego pejzarzu.
Podoba mi sie ustawienie tej kobiety pomiedzy dwoma balami. Cos nieobecnego jest w tej postaci...

Hi Rafal. So today, it's "Early Poppins" (don't change the title this time though, it's really a stupid idea :)
Nice to have the wet sand as a foreground and the hazy morning mood permeating the scene with the boat silhouettes in front of the hill ranges. Good add with the woman at the left and nice how she is looking towards the right, creating a virtual diagonal line as our eyes are following hers while looking at the photo.

I love the mood you captured in this shot: a very romantic composition thanks to the special light you catched too. The woman with the umbrella is very well placed.
Good job!

I like this even better than the last one. The exposure here is perfect to me. I love the light in the wet sandy floor, with those tiny reflected pools, the foggy upper layer and that hanging cloud in the left upper part. The girl with the umbrella is key here. It gives scale to that beautiful landscape and the way you placed her between those two poles is truly amazing. So peaceful It really transmits that sense of waiting. Very beautiful indeed Rafal.

Hi rafal.

Yeoboseyo Rafal,
Another fresh image of sunrise! An expressive and atmospheric way to interpret both the woman and the wonderful beach. Has a "softness" or dreamlike feel as if you're half-awake awaiting the sunrise... A fantastic & dramatic capture!
Cheers!

Seems like you had a great time out there that morning Rafal. This is a very serene shot that isn't as visceral as your earlier style but I still like it as it is thoughtfully done and really exudes some emotion to it.
Nice one

Hi Rafal,
Good minimalsitic shot with excellent landscape in background. I like the lonely atmosphere. She seems to be waiting for someone...quite sad too with the rough dark textures of beach contrasting the misty sky.
And the PoV is excellent - just love how you put her between two standing poles.

Hi Rafal,
wonderful shot. I like the light of pre-sunrise which evokes the myst far away. The ground textures are wonderful, but the compositon wouldn't be perfect without the girl under her umbrella. Just fabolous.
Have a nice day,

Definitely a good idea to get up, worthy "effort" to get this image.

Hi Rafal, & greetings from Hiroshima, Japan. There were an estimated 12,000 to 22,000 Korean conscript victims on AUG 6 1945. This morning, I was in Nagasaki. The A bomb memorial museum there, was even more horrific, imho. Tomorrow, Kyoto. Good color & silhouettes.

Rafal ,
Nice photo again today.
"Early Poppins" ...Wow sounds great...
Well, Nice minimum but effective composition.
Faded mountains with sort of mist..really adding the mysterious touch.
Lady between two poles & not in center but off center disturbing the conventional pattern is quite impressive.
wet touch gives the feeling of rainy season.
Over all tremendous shot rafal.

Again such nice morning light and a simple image with this lone figure on the beach - nicely positioned - this is an image that would work well in a 'long' format too - a letterbox format - how could this go wrong - not just with the figure but also the almost inherent 'eccentricity' of an umbrella - especially when it isn't raining - nice catch!

Hi Rafal, i hesitate with your previous one but stop on this one, excellent mood on it, waou you get up very early !! .. And i guess you are a big walker, you seem to love walking ;) This is excellent that she is wearing an umbrella, that give something more to this sunrise coming picture.
All my congratulations Rafal, a great one :)

Hi Rafal,
Some of my photographer friends say that the time just before sunrise is probably the best time to shoot. I do not know about this. May be they are true. I really like the scenery here. The lady with the umbrella is perfectly positioned in the frame. Your angle is nice. Probably this is looking more beautiful because of the low angle that you used here.
best regards

Hi Rafal
So this must be low tide.
I find it surprising that people will get up early for the sunrise,it is not here that I will see that.
You are right about having a perso in the field of vision as it gives another, more interresting dimension to the place, and filling out an empty place.
Have a good WE

Hi Rafal, missed this one somehow. The light here is really wonderful, and it is all about waiting, expecting, anticipating, especially with this woman figure... Brilliant shot and it was worth getting up early! An alternative title could be "Waiting for the Sun", this is the song of The Doors and their album title (the song is on another album actually;)

Very dramatic picture. It was early morning? or it was only a rainy, sad morning? The blurred shape of the mountains in the background increase the effect.
