Photographer's Note
Taken in Berwyn, IL, close to the intersection of Harlem Ave and Cermak.
There'll be another version in PS taken an hour later.
Berwyn is notable for the sculpture Spindle, located in the Cermak Plaza shopping center, along with other works of art. This spindle was shown in the movie "Wayne's World".
Berwyn has the world's largest laundromat, 13,500 square feet in size, with 161 washers and 140 dryers, a kids' play area, big screen TV's, a bird sanctuary, and free pizza on Wednesday nights. In the Chicagoland area, Berwyn is probably best known for the exclamation of "BERWYN!" on the locally produced television show Svengoolie.
Berwyn is a very diverse community with many larger homes on its south side, and many smaller, bungalow type homes on the north side around Roosevelt Road and Cermak Road.

Hi Henryk,
This is a strange shot indeed. And a real good title to go with this. Love the soft lateral light on the cars. Against the cloudy sky, good stark contrast.

Superb point of view on this sculpture, nothing but skewered cars and sky, very effective. Perfect light, perfect time of day to capture it.
Great work

Hello Henryk,
Nice picture of this unusual sight. Very nice colours and details. The grey sky makes for a good background against the colourful stack of cars :-)

Hi Henryk,
A great shot with nice saturated colours on the cars against the grey background of the sky, makes them really stand out. Good composition with the main subject not directly in the middle. Nice sharp focus, and excellent subject matter.

The warm lighting and the cloudy sky make this unusual scene even better. Your composition is perfect. All of that sky makes the cars seem even more out of place, which is nice. Great shot. I liked your note also.

Bonjour Henryk
Sculpture trčs originale. On se demande comment cet entassement de voitures peut tenir sur une tige.
Merci pour le partage et bonne journée.

IMHO, Instead of using horizontal grip, I would prefer vertical deed. Yet it won't reduce any dramatic effects came from the cloudy skies in the background, and the compositions will slightly better,

Hey Henryk, I've never seen this scene before, it is quite a nice piece of art I must say. You've shot this well, its sharp, the positioning is perfect, and I like the golden sunset colour.

Hi Henryk
Not only is the architecture funny, but with your low POV, you've captured it very well. The darkish clouds in evening light provides a nice backdrop & the side lighting on the cars on the giant skewer is lovely
Very good compo.

Hi Henryk,
Une photo rigolotte avec cette brochette de voitures cassées ! Ton cadrage est trčs réussit, j'aime beaucoup la lumičre chaude qui vient refléter sur la carrosserie et qui contraste avec le ciel gris...
Amicalement,
Stéphanie.

Hello Henryk,
Intereresting subject, to say the least. I like the sculptures reference on the left side while dedicating the darker clouds to the right. You have captured this scene well with how side lighting hitting of the cars just right. For this POV, how high up are you, or rather how low is the sculpture.
Top notch...and excellent note!

Greetings Henryk.
A really great POV for your photo. The spear is placed perfectly in your photo. The lighting is really good even though you appear to have had a cloudy sky behind. The different lines created by the different angles ofthe cars adds nice eye points to your picture.
Well done,
Chris.

I enjoy your title. And the way you compose it is great : centering, light, sharpness... That works very well.

I always fall for this kind of artwork. Monumental, and your crop, eliminating scale, made it look like a real barbeque on the thumbnail....
Cheers
