Photographer's Note
A peaceful demonstration for peace in Turkey, Turks, Irak, Iraqi people and Kurds.
I was very impressed by this grandma`s pride.
The colours on her head are the traditional Kurdish colours.
All of them cried slogans like "Biji ashti (Long live peace)" and "Biji Brati (Long live brotherhood)".
And I cried with them...

Such a wonderful and different view of Middle Eastern women, especially older Middle Eastern women, on TE! I love the strength and confidence she has! You have captured the motion and strong will of the women around her too, and your POV and sharp qualith of the photo makes her pop out. Thankyou so much for posting such a strong and powerful photo that defies traditional ideas about women. Just amazing!
