Photographer's Note

As I'll be away for a while, I decided to wish a happy Easter in advance,to all members of TE, especially my friends who have accompanied me and helped me with my photography, for 8 months.
Having family in Sweden, this country is a regular destination, and we were there last year for Easter.
We were glad to know about their traditions on that festival!
At Easter time in SWEDEN, near Stockholm, the snow is usually gone, but the weather is still pretty cold. There is no sign of leaves in the trees yet, so they make decorations, a bit like at Christmas: They make bouquets for the house, where they decorate the branches with coloured feathers. Notice! We chose the proper colour for Sweden, with this bouquet!
See the WS for some more views of Easter decorations in Sweden.
In FRANCE, there is a little story for children: As the bells in all churches, stop ringing on Good Friday, to commemorate Christ's death, and start ringing again on Easter Sunday, to commemorate Christ's resurrection, children are told all the bells go to Rome on Good Friday and come back on Easter Sunday, dropping chocolate eggs in gardens and woods on their way.
Hence the tradition of children having to go and fetch chocolate eggs outside on Easter Sunday morning.
Happy Easter again to everyone!
