Photographer's Note

Despite the ancient cultural influences found in the varius historic sites around the country, the urban environs appear much like any other large city. Obviously this is my favorite store but it also shows an hones slice of daily Korean life. All the cars in the picture are ilegally parked, the girl standing in the street has a cell phone in her ear as she awaits a cab or bus and the tent on the right is that of a palm reader or other type of fortune teller; just another normal Daegu street scene captured during my normal evening walk.

Hello Greg,

Thanks for this view of the Korean life. The picture is colorful and there is life with the walkers. Perhaps could it be an idea to have an even smaller aperture to get a little more blur on the walkers to translate the movement.
But as you were without tripod at 1000iso, even with the VR, not so easy.
Whatever, as I work with people in Daegu, I was interested to see at what it is looking as I never got the opportunuity to go there.

This is an impressive and spectacular urban shot. I like the ramose advertisements and the full of life atmosphere. Effective work. Have a nice weekend.

Hello Greg,
Very interesting street shot full of action, light and colours coming from the stores neon advertisements.
I really the action transmited by this photo showing well how quick life goes on South Korea, with cares and people moving by indifferent to what is happening next to them.
