Săo Bartolomeu do Outeiro, a photo from Evora, South

Photographer's Note

This is the Parish Church of Săo Bartolomeu do Outeiro, a small village situated on the top of a hill, between Viana do Alentejo and Portel. Situated in the centre of the village, this church dates from the 14th century. But besides the church there are a couple of things you cannot miss if you go there. The first one is to watch the Alvito Lake from the belvedere of the village. From this place the lake and the fields around really seem wide and endless. Then, if you go around in the centre of the village, just a little below the church you'll find the "village of the little ones". It's a work in miniature that has been made by a local, for free, a few years ago.It's situated in one of the streets.

Hi Ana,
a very beautiful architecture shot, the white and the blue are really splendid, I like also the elegant forms, the facade top in paticlar, Thanks for sharing.

Beleza de fotografia, Anabela, dessa igualmente linda igreja. As formas variadas propiciam interessante aspecto ŕ fachada externa da igreja.

Hello Ana,
Another great addition to your Portuguese churches and chapel (I think you should create a theme of them!!!) Nice exposure as it is difficult to get nice clean white in that kind of harsh sunlight.. i like the slight off center compo and the superb colors... I think it could be rotated one or two degrees to the left because it has a little tilt... the car is not wanted... but i know you maybe could not wait till it goes!!! All and alll, a fine photo!

Olá Anabela,
I like the POV a bit beside the stairs but also frontal. Wonderful white, blue, brown composition. You confuse me with the clock of the church and your EXIF time. Looking at the shadows I'd like to say the church clock is right.
Just to make a suggestion I did a workshop on the distortion and included one session for the soft noise in the air. I am not sure, whether the lens effect should be kept or not, as it seems to be part of the impression.
And I love the stones on the floor. Marvelous captured.

Igreja simples qb mas muito bonita pela imensidăo do seu branco que tu bem captas nesse Alentejo.
O céu bastante azul faz um contraste muito bom.
