Photographer's Note
I just can't get enough of this view, especially with a foot of snow on the ground here today in Boston.
Day dreaming of hoodoo land...

The beauty of this place is almost overwhelming! The colours and the shapes are so different from what we are used to seeing that it's like a fantasy world, except it's real, and you can walk there and touch the hoodoos. Beautiful shot!

Gorgeous shot Kathy. You have captured some fine light and the repeating patterns create a visual masterpiece.

This is one of those images that elicit a gasp of pleasure and appreciation as soon as you open the frame, Kathy. The line and light and texture are, well...stunning! Such rich, warm colors, too, and great foreground clarity even while battling haze in the background. Vast and breathtaking, and you show it well.

Hi Kathy,
It is such a pretty shot. Amazing colors, looks like a natural amphitheater.

Hello Kathy,
What an unusual image of the hoodoos! The tops appear to be bleached, but possibly the strata at that upper level is a different type of rock than the lower.
I knew about the snow in New England on December 16, having spoken with my son's family who live in Providence. The date was Beethoven's 237th birthday.
Warm regards and Seasons Greetings.
