COASTAL RIVER ORB.
The Orb is a French coastal river of 150 km. After having taken its source to 884 m, in the mounts of Escandorgue, with the Bouvial mount in Aveyron, it runs in the department of Herault to throw 15 km after Béziers, in the Mediterranean at the seaside resort of Valras-Beach.

CHURCH SAINT-JUDE
Built in 1876, at the foot of the cathedral.

SAINT-NAZAIRE CATHEDRAL
The cathedral Saint-Nazaire de Béziers, of XIIIe XIVe XVIIIe centuries. Old diocese of Béziers, IVe century until 1790.
It is the largest monument of Gothic style of the town of Béziers.
The building is 50 meters long, the nave 14 meters broad. The transept has a width of 33 meters. The vault reached 24 m height.

Béziers, (in occitan, Besičrs), is a French common, located in the department of the Herault of the Languedoc-Roussillon area, populated of 71 600 Biterrois and Biterrois, distributed on 96 km˛, is 759 hab./km˛.
By its population, Béziers is the second city of the department of Herault and the fourth of the Languedoc-Roussillon area, after Montpellier, Nimes and Perpignan.
By its surface, Béziers is the first commune of the department of Herault.

It is the fatherland of Pierre-Paul Riquet, born between 1604 and 1609 and deceased in Toulouse on October 1, 1680, architect of the Channel of the South of 240 km, built of 1667 to 1682, to connect Toulouse to Sčte.

Magnifique vue de Béziers. Le pont qui guide notre regard vers la cathédrale donne une superbe composition. Les reflets sur l'Orb sont grandioses. Les couleurs avec cette lumičres ressortent parfaitement. Du beau travail! Félicitations.

Bonjour Joel,
Ce point de vue est a juste titre assez pratique car il a un sacre potentiel, le plus produit dans ta photo c'est les conditions de lumiere d'hiver tres agreables et ce calme impressionant de l'eau qui t'offre une reflection impeccable.

Pas grand chose ŕ dire devant une telle beauté...
C'est simplement magnifique.
La composition, avec un plan assez serré, le pilier qui débute ton image, et le pont qui la traverse entičrement, donnent une perspective incroyable.
La lumičre est sublime, et offre ces réflections grandioses, pour une parfaite symétrie.
Un modčle du genre.
Bravo pour cette réalisation.

C'est vraiment beau. Le pont avec toutes ces "rondelles", les reflets bien saisis, l'église qui domine la situation, la luminosité d'hiver qui fait ressortir l'aspect crayeux de la roche, bref tout est réuni pour donner un bon cliché.

Cette merveille architecturale se miroite et on a le double evenement. Tu ne pouvais pas resister, Joel, a cette tentation et t'a fait un noble geste pour nous tous. Le motif me rappelle un peu a Avignon, son pont et le Palais des Papes ou j'ai eu le plaisir de mettre le pied. Je suivrai avec attention ton parcour dans Languedoc-Roussillon. Merci pour tout, Joel.

quel reflet magique!!!quelle maitrise!
Tout est parfait :le ciel d'hiver si bleu, l'eau si calme (ça c'est plus rare),le vieux pont,la cathedrale majestueuse, la petite eglise ŕ mi chemin....

una gran composición aquí. Esta foto tiene un excelente encuadre y un buen aprovechamiento estético del efecto espejo que nos ofrece el agua del río, con unos reflejos realmente magníficos y un gran efecto de simetría horizontal.
La combinación de formas y arquitecturas del puente y la Catedral es muy elegante, y me gusta mucho el grafismo de los arcos del puente que gracias a los reflejos se cierran en círculos perfectos.
Es una bella foto.

Voilŕ je pense le genre de photo que l'on ręve tous de prendre. Une bonne compo, une belle lumičre hivernale qui n'écrase pas tout, un ciel limpide et des reflets superbes.
Que dire de plus sinon que c'est une photo magnifique!!

this is great, wonderful clarity and symmetry of a great view. The long bridge and the village on the hill stand out great against that blue in their sharpness. The different arches of the bridge add a lot of interest. Superb one.

Quelle belle photo, Joël !
Tout est parfait dans ce cliché aussi bien la composition que la lumičre, les reflets ou les couleurs...
C'est bien la meilleure des trois. Le miroir de l'eau fonctionne parfaitement pour donner du pont son meilleur aspect graphique.
Je place cette photo dans mes favorites.

Goegeous! The POV, the reflection, the amazing clarity and colours!... One wonders what could have changed since the 16th century. The compo is remarkable, it's hard to imagine a better crop or POV. Much the same applies to the WS's, which only look less great because I have already seen this one.

you arranged the view by using the tripod so fine the composition is full of different elements but I believe the best notion of the scenery is the historical bridge. approximately 500 years of age it seems very strong and well built.

This is one of the most beautiful medieval and Renaissance architecture merged in one photograph. The bridge and the castle are both magnificent, and, I must say magnificently photographed. The light is ideal, the composition and perspective cannot be better, and the exposure in flawless.

Bonjour Joël,
C'est une superbe composition admirablement travaillée avec un cadrage d'une symétrie parfaite mettant en valeur deux monuments incontournables de la ville dans une trčs belle lumičre qui fait bien ressortir les détails. L'excellent POV souligne la perpective de ce vieux pont et permet au regard d'avancer profondément dans l'image. Malgré son éloignement et sa position dominante la cathédrale ne laisse pas apparaître de déformation architecturales.
A bientôt sur TE pour de nouvelles aventures.

Encontrei essa sua maravilha ontem! Que beleza de imagem! A luminosidade foi muito bem equilibrada, as cores estăo naturais e belas, a nitidez também está excelente! Porém, o que mais me chama atençăo nela é o ponto de vista escolhido para compô-la, obtendo-se assim esse reflexo fabuloso! É um dos melhores que já vi aqui no TE!
