Photographer's Note

While searching for some info on the Net, I came across a page on Yahoo Answers where people post various questions and others provide answers. There was a particular question there and someone posted an answer to it (best answer - chosen by voters) that gave me a chuckle.
There it goes:

Q: Why did the US have to protect England during WW2 from Germany? Didnt the US have its own battles to fight?
A: Well Britain and the USA are allies, and friends are supposed to look out for each other. It's just a shame the American government waited until Britain was on it's knees before they stepped in at the last minute to claim all the glory.

Anyway, politics aside, this one was taken two days ago in Pickering, during the annual Wartime Weekend. Some Americans came to rescue Britain... some 60 years too late!
