Photographer's Note

Open your web browser and type the word Venezia in the searcher. You will get about 65.400.000 matches.

Every single page you will open, will provide you with the same photos and with the same information as the one you were looking before. Always the same. When I travel, I never explore the city according to the data I get in the books or on the internet, because usually they point you to the most crowded places, where usually there isn't much to see. On those places you fail to experience the real beauty of the place and you become just a faceless and nameless part of a herd that is called tourists.

Sometimes you need to look with different eyes, sometimes you need to look in other people's eyes to spot the beauty of this world. Sometimes you need to relay on others to show you a different view and sometimes you need to catch only a reflection of an image to make the puzzle complete.

And remember...the beauty (in this case Piazza San Marco) is in the eyes of a beholder.
