I'm a photographer with experience in photojournalism back in the late 80's-early 90's who is planning an extended international trip this fall. Until I took a photo class this spring, I hadn't shot or been in a darkroom in about 10 years. I mostly shoot with my Nikon N65s at the moment, but am looking at digital and a Fuji "point and shoot" type medium format. I love the effects of the Holga 120 (fuzzy, dark edges) and its price ($15-20) but it's a real pain to use and very limited -- you have f/11 and f/8 choices and a set shutter at 1/100. Till I leave on my trip, I'm just trying to do some documentary work here in the states. Some of my favorite photographers are Mary Ellen Mark, Jill Freedman (look for her GREAT book of Irish photos) W. Eugene Smith, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Frank and Nan Goldin. My website is
