Intro: Hi I'm Gordon Hodgkinson and am delighted to be a part of this community devoted to two of my passions: Travel and Photography. I'm currently based in London, England.

I love the challenge of trying to encapsulate the essence of an area in just a few images, and enjoy trying to get the very best image right 'in camera' as much as possible, as opposed to significant digital manipulations. I also enjoy experimenting with different photographic techniques such as: long exposures; night photography; silouhettes; stitched panoramas and am currently focussing on my digital black & white skills.

I now shoot digital with a Canon 20D, but have many travel images that started life as slides which I scan with a Nikon 5000ED (a 4000ppi film scanner). I'm learning all the time, and appreciate any feedback you choose to give - I'm all ears!
