Intro: Hello world :)

Well... after 6 months at TE... It's time to write an intro, I think, he-he. According to one saying - better late than never.

My name is... a couple of lines higher, in fact.

"Mikhalych" is my middle or parental name - here in Russia people often use to address close friends by their middle name.

I was born, bred and still live in Moscow. Strange city - there are many reasons to hate it, but I love it.

My interest in photography goes back to late 70-ies, when using my father's FED camera I made my first steps. It was fun then, I even tried some experiments in a dark room - exotic processing techniques, printing on a cloth etc.
But there came autofocus soap-box cameras and all processing was reduced to going to mini-lab next door. All magic was gone.
The interest returned when my first digital camera was bought. So the fun returned too.
I think that internet and sites like TE were the reason for this too. One can show his works to a lot of people and get feed-back from all over the world. It's a great source of inspiration and motivation.
Typical story, isn't it?
