In the Azores islands summer time is Festa time.
On Sunday all or some of the local church images are decorated and carried in procession through the town.The streets are decorated with flags and the ground is decorated with coloured sawdust, different leaves and flowers using different designs.
I would like to share with you some photos I took on my trip to Sao Miguel this summer. I hope you enjoy them and by all means feel free to critique.
