Hallo again!
I've got so many places in the world I want to share with you, but I can't seem to stop uploading my photos from Scotland. :) I think I've fallen in love with this land and its nature.
Anyway, presenting the most famous castle of Scotland - the Eilean Donan Castle, located near Kyle of Lochalsh. Here I like the atmosphere, the Scottish breath. Hopefully you'll like it too :) Enjoy!

Cropped the picture to change the perspective in the foreground. I removed the closer area as i think it detracted from the starkness that is this castle.

I sharpened the overall image using an unsharp mask in the lightness layer.

Saturated the colours in key areas and enhanced the shadows.

I increased the detail of the background using the burn tool to redraw the lines which although apparent on the original were difficult to pick out.

using the dodge tool i selectively brightened the greens in front of the castle.
